Who could have guessed that one of my favorite shows of 2019 would be from a Youtube star?

As someone who watches Youtube constantly, and was heavily immersed in the world of Vine (RIP), I was pretty excited to have the opportunity to photograph Scotty Sire. However, for the sake of total transparency, my expectations were not high, but to say I was pleasantly surprised would be a massive understatement.

One aspect of the show that I really enjoyed was Scotty’s opening acts, two out of the three were actually members of Scotty’s band, allowing them their own set to showcase their solo work was really fun, and smart on Scotty’s part. I also loved Son Real, and was glad I found his music through this show.

I did not anticipate how much fun I would have during Scotty’s set. I was dancing and singing along the whole time, and found myself really sad when it was over.

I’m very much looking forward to the next time Scotty comes through Texas, I’ll without a doubt be there dancing along again.
