I'm a sucker for a good cover, especially when it's better than the original. Here are my top 10 covers by some of my favorite artists and why I love 'em. As always, let me know if I missed one, if you like it, if you don't, etc.

1. Thirty Seconds To Mars- Stay (Rihanna Cover)

This is so beautiful it hurts. Seriously. Can't get much better than Jared Leto singing a love song.

2. Ed Sheeran- Skinny Love (Bon Iver Cover)

This song is a weird one cause everyone thinks its a Birdy song, but it's a Bon Iver song and nobody remembers that Ed Sheeran, king of covers, has his version that will melt your ice cold heart, well, at least mine.

3. The 1975- What Makes You Beautiful (One Direction Cover)

Damn. My boys CRUSHED IT back in 2013. Better than the original? I think so.

4.Twenty One Pilots- Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover)

Everyone knows this is my favorite song in the history of music (if you didn't, now you do). There are a million and one covers of this song out there, but something about the way Tyler sings it gives me serious chills EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Forever wishing there was a clearer version of this (but also Josh clapping at the end for his friend makes me so freaking happy).

5.Ed Sheeran- She Looks So Perfect (Five Seconds Of Summer Cover)

Ed Sheeran appears twice on this list because again, king of covers.... and well, everything. This is another cover where it blows the original out of the water. Sorry not sorry, 5SOS.

6. Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless)- Champagne Supernova (Oasis Cover)

Little J, is that you?!!!! But seriously, despite not having the strongest of vocals (it is a one-take live lounge) this cover is KILLER. Who knew? Also, the seamless little snippet of Dear Prudence is everything.

7. Hozier- Do I Wanna Know (Arctic Monkeys Cover)

Ahhh Hozier, one of the most underrated artists of our time. His voice is scary beautiful. Arctic Monkeys is one of my favorite bands of all time, and Hozier did them GOOD. This is so relaxing I can't even listen to it in the car cause I'll just want a drink and a nap. Truth.

8.Alessia Cara- Bad Blood (Taylor Swift Cover)

True story, I heard this on Radio 1 and THE NEXT WEEK, Alessia was in our studios, with me telling her and everyone around us that I had this cover on repeat for the entire week. I didn't know she apparently had a number one song (wow, I REALLY SUCK at this whole music thing sometimes), I just knew of her because she slayed this cover. Sorry, Taylor, Alessia kicked your ass on this one.

9.Halsey- Woman (The 1975 Cover)

Wow. My girl is talented (okay but I'm talking like I know her when actually we had one conversation that I had to pay for, ITS FINE IM FINE, Ashley, please be my friend). It's a beautiful thing when my favorite singer covers my favorite band. Play this at my funeral. S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G.

10. James Bay- Forever (HAIM Cover)

Okay, I'm gonna be real honest when I tell you I've never heard the original version of this song. Yikes. Honestly, I really don't care. This cover is so beautiful that I don't need to hear the HAIM version, sorry girls, I'm sure it's great.
